The Journey


Healing Waters (Tel Aviv – Masada – Dead Sea – Tel Aviv)

A shimmering shoreline, trendy nightlife and rich culture, Tel Aviv is a traveller’s haven. After checking in to your hotel, step out for an unforgettable trip to the desert fort of Masada and the calming beauty of Dead Sea. Descend to the Judean Desert via the “Inn of the Good Samaritan” to board a cable car to the 2,000-year-old Masada fortress and palace built by King Herod. Later, take a drive through the breath-taking Ein Gedi and Qumran, and view the caves where the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered. Continue to Dead Sea, where you get the chance to float and relax in the mineral-rich waters, 400m below sea level, the lowest place on earth. Or take a mud-bath and benefit from the therapeutic qualities of the natural Dead Sea mud. On the way back to the hotel, you will get a view of Jericho, the lowest city on Earth and the old Roman Road. Overnight at Tel Aviv.

Spiritual Quests (Tel Aviv – Jerusalem – Bethlehem – Tel Aviv)

After breakfast, drive down to the spiritual centres of Jerusalem and Bethlehem. Climb the Mount of Olives for panoramic views of Jerusalem's Old and New City as well as the Temple Mount Esplanade. Travel along the Kidron Valley to view the Garden of Gethsemane and the walls of the city. Then traverse the Armenian Quarter to enter The Western (Wailing) Wall before seeing the local Bazaar, the Christian Quarter, the Stations of the Cross (Via Dolorosa) and the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, the site of the crucifixion. Walk along the 1700-year-old Byzantine main street, the Cardo and the renovated Jewish Quarter. You will also visit Bethlehem, the birthplace of Jesus according to the Christian faith. On route, travel via Nativity Circle and visit the cave where Jesus was born and the Manger Square, where Jesus was placed after his birth. Also visit the Greek and the Catholic Church and the Milk Grotto, where Mary fed her son. Overnight at Tel Aviv.

Historic Sights (Tel Aviv)

Check out after breakfast for an exploration of Tel Aviv. Visit the Diaspora museum and drive around the main streets of Tel-Aviv, the centre of business and entertainment fir Israel. Stop at Rabin Square, notorious for the assassination of Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin. Continue to Old Jaffa, one of the oldest port cities in the world, where you will visit the ancient ruins and walk along the Artist's Quarter. Visit Neve Tzedek, the first neighbourhood of Tel Aviv, built in 1887 and Nahalat Benyamin, the pedestrian mall of the city where you can enjoy live street music, arts, crafts and handmade jewellery. Next, stop at Sheinkin, the lively and colourful street specially known for its unique shops, café life and youthful ambiance. Later, you will be transferred to the airport to board your flight back home.
