The Journey

1

Lift Off! (Nairobi)

Welcome to Nairobi – often referred to as the beating heart of Kenya! Nairobi’s fun nightlife, historic museums and proximity to some of the best African safaris make it an ideal spot to start your wildlife adventure. You will be met at the Jomo Kenyatta Nairobi International Airport by our representative, and transferred to your hotel for check-in. Overnight at Nairobi.
2

Enter the Ark (Nairobi – Aberdares)

After breakfast, drive to the Aberdares, a densely forested mountain range, where you will arrive just in time for lunch. Next, visit a tree-lodge that is uniquely shaped to resemble an ark, designed with decks from which numerous balconies and lounges provide superb vantage points for viewing the animals visiting the salt-lick and waterholes. A ground-level bunker at The Ark provides excellent photographic opportunities, and the Yasabara waterhole is floodlit at night to enable all-night viewing of game. Overnight at the Ark Lodge. Note: You will need to pack an overnight bag before heading to The Ark.
3

Lakeside Tranquillity (Aberdares – Lake Naivasha)

After breakfast, drive down to the scenic Lake Naivasha, the highest lake in the Great Rift Valley. This little oasis of lush greenery is the perfect spot to relax and view the sunset, amidst the calls of the wild. After lunch, spend the afternoon at leisure. Dinner and overnight will be at Lake Naivasha.
4

Africa’s Most Popular Safari (Lake Naivasha – Masai Mara Game Reserve)

After breakfast at the lodge, proceed for what has been called the best African safari ever – the Masai Mara National Park. You will arrive at your lodge here in time for lunch and check in for your stay. Masai Mara is famous for its annual wildebeest migration and is one of Africa’s top tourist destinations. With over 95 species of mammals, and over 400 species of birds, you are sure to be mesmerised by this place. Enjoy an enthralling game ride in the afternoon – looking out for lions, cheetahs and other spectacular predators of the region. Return to the lodge for a sumptuous dinner and overnight at Masai Mara.
5

A Full Day of Game-Viewing! (Masai Mara Game Reserve)

After breakfast, proceed for a full-day game drive with picnic lunch to search for the myriad species of game that make this reserve their home. If you are lucky, you can witness the kill in action, moment by moment, right in front of your eyes! Masai Mara has been rated as one of the best places in the world to capture the five top animals that one wishes to see on an African safari - lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard and rhino. End the day back at your hotel, where you can relax in luxury and enjoy a delicious dinner. Overnight at Masai Mara.
6

Farewell Kenya

After breakfast, drive back to Nairobi with a stopover at the Rift Valley view point. On arrival, transfer to the airport for your flight back home.
