Day 1: Lift Off! (Nairobi)
Welcome to Nairobi – often referred to as the beating heart of Kenya! Nairobi’s fun nightlife, historic museums and proximity to some of the best African safaris make it an ideal spot to start our African adventure. You will be picked up from the Jomo Kenyatta Nairobi International Airport and transferred to the hotel for an afternoon of relaxation and leisure.
Day 2: Into the Wild (Lake Nakaru National Park)
We begin by driving you to the wild side of Africa at the famous Lake Nakaru National Park. The park is famous for its exotic flamingo population, which can often be seen flocking in the thousands as they feed on the algae at the peripheries of the lake. Lake Nakaru is also home to the distinguished Black and White Rhinos and is one of the very few places where you can see these creatures in all their natural beauty. Also look out for zebras, water buffaloes, and giraffes. End the day by returning to your hotel for overnight stay.
Day 3: Safari Extraordinaire (Masai Mara National Park)
Begin your day with a sumptuous breakfast and then proceed for the what has been called the best African safari ever – the Masai Mara National Park. Masai Mara is famous for its annual wildebeest migration and is one of Africa’s top tourist destinations. With over 95 species of mammals, and over 400 species of birds, you are sure to be mesmerised by this place.
Masai Mara has also been rated as one of the best place in the world to capture the five top animals that one wishes to see on an African safari - lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard and rhino. End the day back at your hotel, where you can relax in luxury.
Day 4: Safari Extraordinaire 2.0 (Masai Mara National Park)
It’s impossible to absorb the beauty and diversity of Masai Mara in a single day, so its time to make another trip to this beautiful land of wilderness. Spread over 1500 kilometres, the Masai Mara is one of the biggest national parks in the world. You will witness some of the most splendid sceneries and wildlife on your Masai Mara expedition. The day ends with you retiring to the hotel for dinner and overnight lodging.
Day 5: Epic Tanzania (Serengeti)
We start the next day by journeying to Tanzania and bidding farewell to Kenya. Board your flight to the Migori airstrip, from where you will be transferred to the Isabenia border for clearing the immigration processes to Tanzania. After lunch, enjoy a game ride through the wild before returning to your hotel to retire for the day.
Day 6: Serendipitous Serengeti (Serengeti National Park)
Welcome to one of the best-known wildlife sanctuaries in the world! We will spend the day at the Serengeti National Park, witnessing endless plains and thousands of species of wildlife. The park contains an estimated three million animals, many of whom take part in annual migrations, and is visited by thousands of tourists from all over the world. Despite its popularity, Serengeti never fails to surprise and amaze travellers. End the day with dinner back at your hotel.
Day 7: Volcanic Wonders (Serengeti – Ngorongoro Conservation Area)
After breakfast, head for a morning game drive into the Serengeti. After our Serengeti Safari, we will collect lunch boxes and drive into the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, home to what has been referred to as the larges volcanic crater in the world – the Ngorongoro Crater. Check into the luxury of your property and enjoy the day at your own pace, before we head out for another adventure tomorrow.
Day 8: Predator Spotting (Ngorongoro Crater)
The day begins with a tour to the extremely beautiful Ngorongoro Crater. A beautiful natural phenomenon, the crater stands at a height of over 2200 metres above sea level and is the largest unbroken caldera in the world. Home to about 25,000 large animals, which are mostly grazers, the crater is also known to have the densest predator population in the region. If you are lucky, you might spot a herd of lions. Also look out for gazelles, buffalos, eland, hartebeest, and warthogs.
Day 9: Of fauna and fowl (Lake Manyara National Park)
Start the day with breakfast at your hotel and then proceed to Lake Manyara National Park for a morning game drive. One of Tanzania’s most diverse national parks, Lake Manyara is home to many animals in a relatively small area. The park extends for a little over 325 sq. kilometres and is famous for its tree-climbing pythons and lions. Also known as a birdwatcher’s paradise, Lake Manyara is home to over 380 species of birds. After a fascinating day of exploration, we return to the hotel for dinner and stay.
Day 10: Rejuvenate (Ngorongoro Conservation Area)
Spend the next day relaxing in your exquisite property, nestled beautifully on the rim of the great African rift valley, offering stunning views of Lake Manyara and mount Meru. Take the day to relax and recollect your African adventure, soaking in the beautiful landscapes of Africa one last time, before we head back tomorrow.
Day 11: Bidding Goodbye (Kilimanjaro International Airport)
After breakfast, we drive to Arusha, where we will stop for lunch before heading to the Kilimanjaro International Airport for the flight back home.
